A performance, a business story, or a film you’ve been meaning to finish. I can help find the story in your footage and get the pacing, sound, and little details feeling right.
Send a short sample and tell me what you’d like the finished film to do. A reference film can help with the pacing, music or feel you have in mind.
Clear scope before I start
I quote small editing projects from $225. New editing work is $75 per hour, or a fixed quote after I review a representative sample. The minimum covers a small, agreed edit; larger source collections and extra versions need their own estimate.
Need an editor more often?
Monthly editing support is available from $700 for ten hours of editing time reserved in one agreed month. File review, communication, editing, feedback and exports use that time. We’ll agree on priorities and a schedule before the month starts.
If you need another editor for one project or a regular run of work, send me the brief and a little about how your files are organized. We’ll agree on the handoff, deadline, review process and final versions before I begin.
Questions
Can you edit footage I filmed myself?
Yes. Send a sample, the approximate amount of footage, and a reference for what you want to make. I'll check the material before quoting.
What if I don't know how much footage I have?
That’s fine. Describe the recordings as best you can, and I’ll help work out what I need to check for an estimate.
Do I need to be local?
No. I work remotely with footage you share online. If you also need filming, I’m based in Marysville and serve Seattle and Western Washington; travel and availability are confirmed in the quote.
